The Virtual Community Outreach Musicians' (V-COM) Concerts

The Community Outreach Program is proud to present “Connecting Through Music” — two concerts to honor our Essential Workers and encourage our communities. Each concert features our MTAC-OCN student musicians performing music integrated with nature scenes, a photo gallery from students and teachers, and a donation opportunity to help those in need.

The Community Outreach Program enhances students' performances as well as their motivation through a series of concerts. Each concert provides students the opportunity to perform their polished, memorized piece(s) and share with the community at the same time. Students of all ages and levels are invited to participate in these rewarding community outreach recitals. Community Outreach Concerts also offer students a chance to share a wide variety of musical styles —  classical, Broadway, Pop, Jazz, student compositions, contemporary pedagogical pieces, and ensemble works. Students also earn community service hours for their time based on their piece’s equivalence to Certificate of Merit repertoire levels.
